Posted: February 10, 2010 by VZNMILL in Humor, Kicks

This is the introduction to the SN’EADS  comic strip by REE. I’m feeling the whole vibe from the comic.

I’ll keep you posted on more updates from him.

“Today Nobody Cares But Tomorrow They Will”

Posted: February 5, 2010 by VZNMILL in Uncategorized

My good friend wrote this a while ago and I liked it soo much that I asked if it would be okay for my to put it up on the blog. Of course he said yes due to fact that it was my blog because he denied A LOT of people. I mean CNN was going to do a story about this piece but he rudely politely declined.

“Today Nobody Cares But Tomorrow They Will”

By Eli

They asked me if I know real,
Chill, I know its not all about the thrill.
We all got problems.
From people cutting us in line,
To people dying from lines.
I say why not be patient,
After all, I’m in no rush to the end of the line.
Fine, I’m no celebrity, but I star in the real world.
The one where thugs are real and people are found in the corner curled.
Now I’m not the one to kill, steal, or lead a life of deceit.
I love, care, share, inspire, motivate. Don’t believe me, I kept the receipt.
The ink of a scholar is worth a thousand times more than the blood of a martyr.
So I keep on, move on with my dream that one day the people of Moses will be let go.
So I keep on, and put on that smile that could change the world.
And I keep on, knowing that the acts of our own reproduction are leading us closer to our own destruction.
Must I keep on, knowing that the same people I am trying to help will one day turn their back on me and spit on my face when I yelp.
Thus they sleep on, the hand that feeds them the truth, cause it would be tragic for it to reach the youth.
Must I keep on, knowing that a couple of words could lead to my own destruction if I am not armed to the tooth.
And I keep on, knowing that we are all children of the same God.
So I keep on, knowing he will be by my side wheter my path be narrow or wide.
So I keep on, knowing the truth; that in the end, they will need it more then myself.
I think therefore I am. I ink with my pen and you tell me if its worth more than the million dollar man.
I give, I instill, I set the fire on the burning bush; after all people are blinded by the products they push.
So I push, I Pray Until Something Happens.
After all, when I reach the end of the line, I want to feel satisfaction.
I say why not be patient,
Foster good, sow the seed of righteousness,
So we can reap women who can not just say their mothers but wives,
so that our people will no longer be the majority in prisons.
We all got problems. But,
Chill, its not all about the thrill.
Ask me if I know whats real.

#Twitter

Twitter has given me some good laughs over the pas couple months so I had to make a post about it. First it was Black planet(which I never had) and Xanga (now that I had because everyone else in hawaii had one). Then it went to Myspace which was pure comedy at one point with all the fake profiles and the simple n easy way to “book” girls and pull pranks(those who are reading this know exactly what I’m talking about aka. inside joke) and then it went of to Facebook. It has gone through many changes and personally I think they should fix that damn FB Chat for sooo many reasons. Even there there are a lot of things that go wrong with FB I believe it is great for connecting with people and promotions. Well about 1000+ of my  inbox messages are due too these “promotions”. I have nothing else to say about that.

Well you should follow the people that make me laugh and think about life

Kobe Bryant is the Lakers Leading Scorer

If your watched the Lakers game against Memphis then you witnessed history in the making. Kobe Bryant ended the game with 44 points and a career of a total 25,193 points just 1 short of Jerry West. Kobe I believe is up there with the best players of all time. No he is not Jordan, and nobody will every be so do not take it the wrong way. Congrats to Kobe on the huge achievement and (middle finger) to all the haters if i’m not being to discrete. I tired of people saying that he is a just an okay player and he gets too much credit. He is a Great player and people should respect that.

Now I would put a highlight video up

but…

Yall already know

Black History Month

So today starts off Black History Month. No it is not a month to treat all African Americans nice because if that was so I’d be walking into stores and just take anything I want and just say “Hey! It’s black history month! you cant touch me!”. Just kidding about all that but on a much more serious note this month is really to reflect on how far we have come as African Americans and as a nation. If you want to learn more there should be a place of many books that some people call the “library” or something like that or you can just stay online and search around.
